Housing options for the retreat:
Cost to stay at Daycholah–$155 (12 years and older)
$125 (4 to 11 years), toddlers free. This includes two nights lodging and four meals. Enormous bargain!!
Daycholah is sharing a packing list for participants.
- Linens for your bed (twin-sized) and a blanket or a sleeping bag. There is a thin quilt on each bed, if you tend to be cold, you may want to bring an extra blanket. Also, please bring a pillow.
- Personal Care Items: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, bath towel, washcloth and other necessities.
- Bring warm clothes, especially outerwear for anytime you’re walkingaround the property. Please keep in mind that the weather can fluctuate a lot throughout the course of the day. Make sure to bring layers so you can adjust what you’re wearing as needed.
- Bring shoes that are appropriate for a variety of weather. Consider bringing slippers or lightweight shoes for your evenings in your lodging area.
- Bring a book or a personal music player for your downtime.
- Bring a mask or two for your weekend at Daycholah Center.
Daycholah’s masking policy is that when we are in the dining hall, we will wear masks until we are seated and eating. For our shared retreat spaces for the weekend, we will encourage masks if desired, and have some on hand, but it will be mask optional. For worship time on Sunday morning we will encourage mask wearing for the singing.
