toward a Theology of the Elder Years

Greetings Wayfinders,
I look forward to seeing many of you this afternoon in less than an hour for the ZOOM portion of our December Wayfinding gathering. We will celebrate the Solstice, which is the longest night in the Northern Hemisphere, where we dwell in the darkness and in mystery and celebrate the sun coming back, even in these blizzard conditions! In conversation we will invoke the theme of mystery and wonder together what it means to become an Elder, what it means to have wisdom, and along with our Advent theme, how the universe, stars or angels of God are seeking to get our attention.
We will have special guest John Leonard with us to lead us in a worshipful beginning and closing ritual with some Taize chanting and litany around the solstice.
