Our summer J&J programming is focusing on the Phoenix Affirmations, which the pastors are preaching about this summer. These are 12 affirmations of the Progressive Christian Church on the practices

of loving God, loving the neighbor, and loving ourselves.

The reading(s) will be kept light most weeks.

This Sunday, we will be discussing Affirmation 10:

Christian love of ourselves includes claiming the sacredness of both

our minds and our hearts, recognizing that faith and science,

doubt and belief serve the pursuit of truth.
